I’m a color specialist with 11 years at Gene Juarez, and I love creating the perfect shade for you. Whether it's covering grays, adding highlights, or blending in balayage, I’m all about making your color look fresh and natural. I also specialize in lived-in color that grows out beautifully! Outside of the salon I’m busy being a new mom, walking my golden retriever while most likely sipping an iced coffee. I’m here to make the process easy and fun, I can’t wait to help you love your hair!

Luna is a Goldwell master colorist and has been with Gene Juarez for 14 years. She loves creating soft, natural colors and specializes in sun-kissed highlights.

With over 20 years of experience in the beauty industry, I am a colorist specializing in grey blending, balayage, highlights/lowlights, shadow roots, money pieces, multi-dimensional color, and customized coloring techniques.
I am passionate about continuing education and staying up-to-date on the latest techniques and products in the industry to provide the best possible service to my guests.

My passion for style and fashion have always been the inspiration of my hairdressing journey. Growing up with a single mother and three sisters in a small two bedroom apartment, I was constantly surrounded by women. I began to understand how important hair is and how a good hairstyle could really turn your day around. That is the driving force for me. I will work with you individually to get an in depth understanding of your hair and your relationship with it. From then, we would curate a hairstyle that fits all these different aspects of your life. I look forward to be a part of your next hair journey with you.

Brandi started with the company in 2006, She works with all types and textures of hair. Brandi loves making all her clients feels so welcome and special.

I love doing short fun hairstyles, men and women alike, big style changes, as well as a couture cuts based on a clients unique features. A haircut should always take into consideration a person's eyes, bone structure, face shape and lifestyle to bring out the most youthful and flattering self.

Iris has been with Gene Juarez for her entire 12-year career. She is a barber specialist and a certified curl expert. Iris is also Calligraphy Cut, Keratin Treatment and special occasion hair certified. She loves getting to be creative with updos, working with curly hair and making sure her clients feel confident every time they leave her chair.

Jeffrey Allen grew up in the Pacific Northwest and started styling hair at the early age of 15. Upon high school graduation he enrolled at The Gene Juarez Academy of Beauty in Seattle, Washington. Shortly thereafter Jeffrey started working at Toni&Guy in 2004. As an apprentice and stylist at Toni&Guy, Jeffrey mastered the art and craft he still loves to practice to this day.

He has also continued his education with Orbe, Kérastase, R&Co, AVEDA, Bumble & Bumble and Kevin.Murphy.

His work has graced the cover of PDX Magazine and Willamette Weekly.

Jeffrey has also worked as The Artistic Creative Director of education at Tara Salon and Spa in George Town, Washington D.C. from 2009 until 2011.

From long layers, classic bob, short fade or a fun funky asymmetric look, Jeffrey is well versed in the world of hair and is sure to help you find the right look and products that will work for you!

In his off time he enjoys cooking, entertaining his friends and family and traveling.

Kim grew up in Cambodia and moved to Washington in 2004. She went to CWU to become fluent in English and earn a degree in finance, but her heart was in the beauty industry. She went on to become a licensed cosmetologist and never looked back. Kim loves working with all hair types and lengths, but specializes in fine hair texture.

Graduated from Las Vegas Beauty School in early 1993. Started working for GJ Redmond in March 1998.

My approach is inspired by nature, art, style, and movement. With over 15 years of experience, I began my hairstyling career in 2007, specializing in Design at the Gene Juarez Advanced Training Salon. As an analytical thinker and solution-focused stylist, I’m dedicated to creating looks that are as effortless to maintain as possible. I’m passionate about educating clients how to embrace their natural texture (whatever it may be) for lower maintenance daily routines that allow you to focus on the integrity of the hair and longer term goals, while enjoying the day to day benefits.

I’m Ava, a licensed Master Esthetician and I’ve worked at Gene Juarez since 2016. I’m a results driven skincare therapist who believes in educating all my clients and developing individualized, therapeutic skincare regimens. I provide each client with an exceptional skincare experience in a peaceful and comfortable space. My top services performed are Lash Lifts, Hydrafacials, and Resurfacing Peels!

My goal is to make people feel good about themselves with proper skin care treatments and at home care. My career as an Esthetician allows me to truly impact someone’s life just by spending the time with them and allowing them to unwind, decompress and feel good about doing something for themselves. I am passionate about educating my clients on a treatment plan that would be best for them as well as a proper home care routine, which in my experience is the most important part of taking care of your skin and seeing results.
