As we reopen our doors to the community, we’re doing so with an even deeper dedication to delivering the best in beauty and relaxation, and we’re in search of passionate creatives to help. For over 50 years, Gene Juarez has been committed to the mission of bringing out the best in each guest so they leave feeling better than when they arrived.
Recently, we’ve made a series of changes designed to improve the employee experience for its team of talented professionals. Key changes that are part of Gene Juarez Salons & Spas’ evolution as an employer include:
Salon artist career path
Our talented salon artist team members will no longer be required to specialize in cut or color services, and we provide paid training for our current specialists who wish to cross-train to offer both design and color services.
An updated raise cycle wherein twice per year, artists will move up with relative ease, based on fair metrics, with updated, highly competitive commission ranges.
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives
We’ve initiated cultural sensitivity training for all of our team members, enhanced our Academies’ curriculum with comprehensive textured hair training, and updated our service menu to be inclusive for all hair types and genders.
Join us as we evolve our brand and continue to set the bar for Seattle style and wellness for the next 50 years!
We are currently hiring for:
+ Hairstylists – design and color specialists, or stylists who offer both (all locations)
+ Salon apprentices – hone your craft in our 6-month paid apprenticeship (all locations)
+ Salon management trainees (all locations)
+ Salon and spa coordinators (all locations)
