Gene Juarez Salon & Spa of University Village Helps Raise Funds for Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research

SEATTLE -  Starting today and through the weekend Gene Juarez Salon & Spa at University Village is teaming up with neighboring retailers to raise money for Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research through the “Shop to Make a Difference” program.   Gene Juarez of University Village is selling and accepting “Shop to Make a Difference” cards, which cost $25 each.  

Gene Juarez is offering all guests with “Shop to Make a Difference” cards an exclusive 20 percent price reduction on products at its University Village location through the end of business on Sunday.  Shoppers who purchase the card receive a 20 percent discount at multiple University Village retailers and restaurants. 

Proceeds raised by cards sales benefit Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research whose teams of scientists work together to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer, HIV/AIDS and other diseases.
