Melanie Reed began working for Gene Juarez Salons & Spas in 2001 as a Guest Services Representative. At the time, she was going to massage school, and she hoped that working at the Front Desk would help her decide whether or not she wanted to work as a massage therapist at Gene Juarez.
In 2003, Melanie accepted a full time position as a Guest Reservations Specialist. Within a short period of time, she was promoted to a Guest Reservations Supervisor position and then the Guest Reservations Manager. Because of her excellent organizational skills and high level of productivity, she was asked to join the Human Resources team and work in the recruiting department. Melanie quickly became a valuable team member with her strong work ethic, positive go-get-it attitude, and desire to learn new skills. Her ability to work with statistics and various data driven reports helped her evolve into a position as a Payroll Coordinator, and within a couple of months, she was promoted again to her current position as the Payroll Supervisor.
